A wall fan has a back plate that allows for installation on a vertical surface (wall) – similar to how a wall sconce or outdoor lantern would install. The fan then pushes air horizontally – from side to side when oscillating.

What are wall fans?

Wall fans typically offer three speeds of airflow, with the highest considered quite powerful for feeling a cooling sensation. It also oscillates to aid in circulation, offers both directional and oscillating air options, is great for low ceilings or rooms with space saving needs and our wall fans are wet-rated and great for patios, pergolas, or other outdoor living areas

Are wall fans any good?

Unlike a ceiling fan, a wall fan doesn’t have a specified restriction from the ceiling or the floor, but it is recommended to make sure there is enough clearance from the ceiling and neighboring walls to allow the fan to move up/down or oscillate and that the fan is 7ft from the floor to provide ideal air movement while still being out of reach of children
